Hello Mr. Foster!
Well, I'm not really sure if this is going to go to you or not, but I figured I'd give it a shot... My friend, Omar, and I were just talking about you last weekend. I was trying to describe how my bedroom wall was decorated to him when I was younger. It was covered in George Foster material! I grew up on Long Island and was a huge Mets fan. I'm now a Boston Red Sox fan, but that's a whole other story. I just wanted to write you and let you know that you were definitely my idol growing up. I used to try to bat like you - playing stickball. My sister actually ran into you in FL some years ago. Apparently, you were with your family(?) at an outside restaurant. She got a couple of pictures with you. She was so excited to tell me when she got home. I was bummed when she said she didn't get your autograph though! LOL I'm not a crazy fan, but I would definitely love to get an autograph. Do you still sign? It's cool to see what you are doing now with helping kids. Where are your camps held? Do you allow companies to sponsor a child? I own a small business and might seriously consider sponsoring a child to learn from one of the best. Please let me know. Sorry to take up your time.
