The traditional Free “Third Father’s Day weekend Batter Up” will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 9:30 am – 1 Pm at the Walter Pop Smith Little League Field on the corner of Together we can make a difference, and continue the challenge to uplift and empower the males who will undoubtedly leave an impact on our community. For the third straight year, “Batter Up” held on Father’s Day Weekend “Comcast Corporation’s will continue to make a difference in not only sponsoring the event but their employees will volunteer in making it a stellar event with George Foster’s professional skills and their dedication. This team, Comcast , retired MLB Player George Foster and Dads Do Make A Difference (DDMADD) Dads provide a free community baseball clinic that has everyone participating in making a positive impact in the community and individual lives . Foster will teach the fundamentals in developing baseball skills and techniques, as well as self-confidence with dads and their kids. The free clinic will also feature free food along with t-shirts for the first 125 children. Dads Do Make A Difference (DDMAD) is a positive movement with a message.
